Book Launch

My Book Launch is only 8 days away. It has been so much fun to plan and I have had lots of help.

Thanks to Airdrie Christian Academy, Grace Baptist Church, Airdrie Alliance and Good Earth Coffeeshop for helping me with my Promo Posters and with media coverage. A special shout out to Cynthia and Stephanie at the Good Earth coffee shop for their great ideas and letting us use the Good Earth coffee shop for my Book Launch.

These two sisters are the most courageous and persevering young women I have met. They took ownership of the coffee shop and barely got started brewing coffee when they were shut down by the beginning of Covid. I bet we all remember what we were doing and where we were when our lives were turned upside down.

A new business and a sudden dearth of customers. When they finally were able to open their doors again, it took time to regroup, and then there was a fire in their coffeeshop. I honestly feared that we would not have the option of enjoying their delicious beverages and food, but they worked hard and the last few times I was in the shop there were filled tables and line ups at the cash register. I love going into the coffee shop and not having to order because Cynthia knows what I want.

Location: Good Earth Coffee Shop 35 MacKenzie Way, Airdrie

Date: Wednesday November 22 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Drop in: There will be readings from my Book, coffee, good conversation with friends, the opportunity to pick up a copy of my book for yourself or maybe for a friend for Christmas.

There will be a draw for a lovely gift basket. Come and celebrate with me and my family. I am so excited to see you all next week.
